Alaina Ableidinger
DVM
Dr. Alaina joined the practice in 2022, and officially as a Veterinarian in June 2025. She graduated from Michigan State University (2019) with a Bachelor’s of Animal Science and (2025) with her DVM. She has special interests in soft tissue surgery, ophthalmology, and preventative medicine. In her free time she enjoys reading, baking and spending time outdoors with her pack of pets including: Aspen (Golden Retriever), Radar (Mountain Feist) and a handful of Treeing Walker Hounds.

Emily Lewis
DVM
Dr. Lewis joined the practice in 2011 and took ownership from Dr. Greve in 2014. She graduated from Michigan State University (2005) with a Bachelor’s in Animal Science and (2009) with her DVM. She is married to Bill, and has 3 sons that continually keep her busy. In her spare time, she spends time with her Labrador Breslin, the clinic mascot, and her bunny Sage.

Jill Zanger
LICENSED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN
Jill joined the AAH in 1996. She graduated from Michigan State University’s Veterinary Technology program in 1991. She is married to Dan and has 2 children; Brandan and Mallory. During her spare time she enjoys crafting, kayaking, reading, gardening and spending time outdoors. She also adopted numerous cats from our local shelter. In 2023 we added a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy named Kiko. He is so busy, plays and spends time with the cats, and adds lots of excitement.

Rachel DeGroot
LICENSED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN
Rachel was born and raised in Gaylord and has been with the AAH since 1993; where she earned her Veterinary Technician certification through Penn Foster. She is married to Bill, has 2 children and enjoys spending spare time with family and friends, as well as her dog Autumn.

Abby Laug
VETERINARY ASSISTANT
Abby joined the AAH team in 2019. She graduated from Tiffin University with a Bachelor’s in Criminalistics and a minor in Forensic Accounting (2019). She is married to Cam and spends her spare time with her golden-doodles Ripley and Nash. She also enjoys golfing, playing soccer, and skiing. Friends and family are a big part of her life also.

Morgan Ziobron
VETERINARY ASSISTANT
Morgan joined the AAH team in 2025. She graduated from Michigan State University (2021) with a Bachelor’s in Animal Science and a minor in Agribusiness Management. She is currently attending Penn Foster earning her next degree in Veterinary Technology. She enjoys hunting and guiding with her husband Shawn and her GSP’s Emma and Apollo.

Megan Grusczynski
2ND YEAR VETERINARY STUDENT
Megan graduated from Michigan State University (2021) with a Bachelor’s in Animal Science and a minor in Agribusiness Management, and has been with the AAH since 2024. Currently, she is in her second year of Veterinary School at MSU accompanied by her dog; Molly. When she isn’t busy studying, Megan enjoys spending time on the farm with her fiancé Devin and being outdoors.

Malorie Slezak
RECEPTIONIST
Malorie has a Nursing degree from Kirtland Community College and joined the practice in 2017. She is married to Nate, has 2 children and a black lab named Scout. During her spare time she enjoys baking, spending time on the lake and watching her kids play sports.

Kinzie Jeffers
RECEPTIONIST
Kinzie is a Gaylord native who recently joined the practice in 2025. She is engaged to Corey and they share a Golden Retriever named Myla. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, practicing her barista skills and having fun in the sun.

RECEPTIONIST
Lindsay has been with the practice since 2024. She is married to Brennan, with one son and her dog Riley. During her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends in Michigan and Florida.
